This AAT Certification will provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to incorporate animals into your professional interventions. This Program is split into 8 different units that you will explore at your own pace. Each Unit has assignments that you will complete in order to receive facilitator feedback and complete the certification. A final exam will showcase your knowledge base as you finish up and a become Certified Animal Assisted Therapy Professional.

Process to get Certified:

  1. Enroll into the AAT Course and purchase required Textbooks. There are 3 Textbooks that are required and a fourth is chosen out of a list of recommended books.

  2. Provide an up to date Personal History which includes knowledge of animals and work placements

  3. Provide three references who can speak to your capacity to work with animals and people - must be non family members

  4. Provide your degree that you have obtained which you are looking at incorporating animals into

  5. Complete all reading, written and video requirements in your own words - without the use of AI technology

  6. Complete the Final Exam

  7. Receive your Certification

  8. celebrate your certification and embark on the amazing career paths where animals get to join you in the work you do.

  9. Support and Mentoring, Sharing of Legal Forms, Consent Forms, applications etc to get you started .
